Helping runners achieve their goals while balancing everyday life.
I started running in 2014 to lose weight and build confidence, but I didn’t truly fall in love with it until my first half marathon (Rock ‘n’ Roll Chicago in 2016). After running my first full marathon at the Dallas Marathon in 2017, my journey has been filled with highs and lows.
But as the saying goes, progress isn’t linear.
My first 3 marathons were consecutive personal bests until I saw a regression over the next 6 marathons. It took more than luck to break the 3 hour full marathon barrier. Over the years, I’ve learned so much - through training, racing, and the inevitable challenges along the way. And I want to share those experiences with you!
Whether a run or race goes great, feels tough, or is just plain ugly, each step moves me closer to my goals. And one of my biggest goals? Helping others enjoy running.
To better serve the runners who trust me with their training, I became an RRCA Level 1 Certified Coach and a V.O2 Certified Distance Running Coach. Through this journey, I’ve learned the importance of purposeful training while balancing the realities of everyday life.
Whether you’re here for coaching or just browsing my blog, I hope you leave feeling one step closer to your own goals. Thanks for visiting - I’m glad you’re here!2:47:58 (6:25/mile) | The Woodlands, TX
