Impressive workouts followed up with lazy mileage. I let “busy” get the better of me. No running for 3 days from Friday to Sunday is not the way to reach my goals. This may sound unnecessarily harsh, but I didn’t prioritize my time well on Friday and Sunday. Life happens. All I can do is acknowledge it and move on.
Two big workouts were the highlight of the week: Tuesday’s 5 x 1 mile (the afternoon wind made that difficult) and Thursday’s MP & Threshold sandwich (I dunno what else to call this lol). This was the only bright spot of last week. 10 days until counting until race day. Priorities will be to get my mileage back up to 50 and pack for Thailand!
